After years of touring the UK, and Ireland, as both Music Photographer, and Artist/Band Music Manager, I have been too, worked with many amazing venues, and theatres, from the London Palladium, indigo O2, and London O2 Arena, to many smaller venues like Classic Grand in Glasgow, or Zanzibar in Liverpool, to the Fiddlers Elbow in London. But working and touring, putting on shows, dealing with various venues, promoters, music managers, sound and lighting crews, and artists and bands, one thing is sure.

We need Entertainment and Music Venues, to survive, and although the pandemic didn't help, in my honest personal opinion the decline in many venues is mainly due to bad venue management, bad investments, and most commonly, a total lack of looking after these amazing venues and upgrading sound, lighting, and promotional tools, needed, to sustain the venue, and enable touring companies, artists, and bands, and their teams, to put on good quality, value for money shows.

Many theatres including my local one, Margate Theatre Royal, an amazing venues, designed purely for theatrical shows, and stage performances, the Theatre is much loved by locals, and touring shows, and could be a huge gem in the local scene.

Over the years, I have seen so many venues, go in decline, and either not invested in, sold, or mismanaged, hopefully, we will now get things moving on protecting more theatres, music, and entertainment venues across the country.

BUT, the Theatre needs upgrading, needs, investment, and a good promoter, and owner to run the venue.

Decent lighting, sound equipment, and good promotion, and advertising, and modern ways of using social media, and websites, all combines a good event, show, or performance.
