Just a quick note, to say, I'd like to wish you and the family, a very Merry and Happy Christmas, and Happy New Year!
For everyone who has subscribed to this (new) website, and shared the pages, and site with friends, family, and colleagues online, thank you very much, it is very much appreciated.
To everyone who has taken the time to read the news updates, like and share them online, and to those who have kindly followed and supported me on my social media profiles and pages, thank you!
LOCAL COUNCIL ELECTIONS
2023 - Started with me, being nominated to stand for the local parish and district council elections, which although my first time, and over nine hundred votes cast, I was not successful. Later on, after a councillor resigned his seat, I then approached the council for co-option onto the parish council, but after an interview by the nine councillors, another person was chosen. I learned a lot, and after many residents' support and encouragement, I do feel I still have much to offer and will continue to support the local community as best as I can.
A SON GETTING MARRIED
A year of family joy, with my second eldest getting married, and returning to the UK after a successful few years of overseas tours, with the family, friends and army colleagues, all coming together to celebrate, and for the family to welcome a bride into the family.
ANOTHER SON GOING TO COLLEGE
Whilst my other son, leaving school and heading off to college, for his school leavers prom, I being me, couldn't resist another trip, so, we arrived in style, and of course made the local newspapers, and the news spread across social media, landing on a private estate.

We had a good couple of months celebrating and flying too.
EVENTS
Events wise, once again for the second consecutive year, thanks to the organisers, I attended the local Monsterslam (Monster Trucks) event at Quex Park, promoting again, as the show is awesome, with Monster Trucks, crushing cars, stunt bikes, plus a lot more. The show returns in 2024 so, make sure to get your tickets.
MUSIC
Throughout 2023 music-wise, I have continued to undertake consultations, behind the scenes, and via video conferencing, and in person, have offered my advice and guidance to many artists and band members, and some parents along the way.
LOCAL VENUES
Supporting local music and especially the local theatre I attended a public engagement event, to which showcased over five and half million pounds worth of regeneration plans, for the Local Theatre Royal, so was pleasantly surprised, by many suggestions I had offered over the years, being thought of, subject to funds, and a good operator, hopefully, the theatre will breathe life again.
